I have been eating here since I discovered it in the 90's. This is homemade food, fresh daily. Angelo and Susan take great care to serve their customers delicious meals. The burgers are meaty, the fries are potatoes , the chili is awesome, and the brown gravy is the best you've eaten after your mom or gramma, truly supreme. Try it, you'll be back, guaranteed.
Family owned down to earth friendly business that has been my favorite burger and fry joint since I was a little kid. Top notch everything, best chip shop in the city!
Delish double cheeseburger and fries and gravy. Always a great experience at Angelo’s and wife. Good ppl servin up great food in the north end for many years. I highly recommend u stop by for a burger when ur on Main Street.
I was in today just before noon and beat the lunch rush for a takeout order, this was my first visit but wont be my last. I ordered the double hot dog with a order of fries (came to 10.25 total, and cash only accepted), and it was Delicious! the fries are sooo good, freshly made to order and seasoned with salt and vinegar. My double hot dog was perfect, they serve a European style wiener in the hot dog and its finished on the griddle to give it a nice crisp skin, the bun is toasted and I had it with onions mustard and relish and honestly it was GREAT!!! The place was staffed by a very nice couple who were working in tandem, the cooking area and seating area are small but spotlessly clean. If you are looking for a nice alternative to the usual lunch stops..... take a chance on Angelo's Chip Shop. Its a diamond in the rough!!!
Fast, great food. The chips and gravy can't be beat. Fatboy burgers are filling and really tasty. Hot dogs are nice, but you might consider a double dog if you like more meat than bun. I'd suggest getting the works on your order, onions, relish and mustard and a bit of chili. A hot dog, fries and gravy and a canned drink are 10. Very affordable, and very tasty and filling. I highly recommend!
Just stopped by during our work day to grab lunch. The service is so lovely! And the food is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend stopping by.
